What's New: On the Easel

As North Carolina’s most prolific artist, Bill Mangum paints a beloved landmark about every week. Today he has a number of amazing projects underway. He invites you to a sneak preview:
First Light
Inspired by a chance meeting between an artist and a homeless man, the Honor Card program has raised more than $2.3 million for homelessness since William Mangum’s participation began 20 years ago. The 2008 Holiday Honor Card features the painting First Light, depicting a tranquil scene of a homeless person entering to worship in solitude at St. John’s Chapel in the North Carolina mountain village of Valle Crucis.
Ribbons & Bows
William Mangum has had the distinct honor of creating the annual Holiday Card for Govenor Mike and First Lady Mary Easley. Ribbons and Bows is a wonderful rendition of the back porch that traditionally host the children's Christmas tree. Be sure to order your copy of this lovely piece before there all gone!
